Anxiety is a natural response to a variety of experiences such as deadlines, public speaking, expected and unexpected life events, work and relationship stress. It happens in children, youth, and adults, and is oftentimes useful. Anxiety becomes problematic when it begins to interfere with daily life and relationships. This seminar will give information on what anxiety is and how to recognize it, some basic strategies for managing anxiety, and some tips for helping someone (including children and youth) experiencing anxiety. Join us on Saturday, March 30 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Tyndale College (Bayview/Steeles).
